Introduction
Certification body is an organization that auditing / evaluate and certifies / Verify & validation / Inspection / testing / Calibration / products for the organization as per applied standards / guideline requirements. Certification Body give confidence to the public sectors that the audited / evaluated organization has compliance the standards / guidelines.
IAAB Roles
IAAB provides guidelines for Accreditation bodies for make accreditation scheme for Certification bodies for Management Systems / Inspection / Validation and Verification / Product Certification / Calibration / Testing standards. IAAB ensures that the organization certified by an accredited certification body compliance the requirements of the applied standards.
IAAB GLA Recognition
Certification bodies can be recognized by IAAB GLA Recognition Program from the IAAB GLA signatories Accreditation bodies. Certification body make ensure that Accreditation bodies have IAAB GLA scope for Accreditation scheme for Management Systems / Inspection / Validation and Verification / Product Certification / Calibration / Testing before apply the accreditation. Certification bodies have to comply with national or internation standards and mandatory compliance with IAAB guideline for certification body (GDCB) in order to be accredited from GLA Signatory Accreditation Bodies.
IAAB GLA logo can be use by Certification body which is accredited from IAAB GLA signatory accreditation body accreditation scheme. Certified organization can also use IAAB GLA Logo in their Visiting Cards, organization profile. Certification Bodies can authorise to use of IAAB GLA Logo to accredited person and organization's with signed agreement for details read
